COVID-19 UPDATE

To Our Valued Patients,

At Vancouver Sleep Solutions, we are committed to keeping you, ourselves, our friends, and families safe.

Since the arrival of COVID-19, we have taken the necessary precautions to keep our patients and staff safe, including the downsizing of services and conducting more virtual appointments when possible. We want to thank you for your patience during this time.

As we prepare to welcome you back, in accordance with British Columbia’s relaunch strategy, I want to let you all know that you can count on our continued commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards. We have put new operating practices in place to ensure physical distancing and implemented new safety protocols with everyone’s well being as our primary concern:

Virtual Services: We continue to support telephone or virtual consultation appointments, if possible, to support people who do not feel comfortable attending an in-person appointment.

Limited entry: To respect physical distancing, a limited number of patients will be allowed inside our clinic at this time. No drop-ins, an appointment will be necessary. We ask that you please do not attend with family, friends, children, etc.

Plexi-shields: We have installed a temporary Plexiglass barrier in the treatment area to provide additional health protection.

Physical distancing: We ask that you respect physical distancing throughout your visit. The flow of traffic through the clinic will be controlled and use of the waiting area is discouraged. Appointments will be as brief as possible.

Health Screening: To keep everyone safe, we are implementing screening for all patients entering the clinic which includes your Covid-19 status and temperature checks.

Increased sanitation: We continue to implement increased cleaning protocols, which includes—but isn’t limited to—the availability and use of hand sanitizer, disinfecting patient area’s between appointments, as well as regular sanitizing of high touch items and areas.
An increased focus will be placed on the disinfection of patient-use equipment and supplies.
Staff are trained in, have access to, and will be properly using the required personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure everyone’s safety.

I’d like to thank you for your patience as we adjust to these changes and work through the backlog from closures, but I assure you we’ll do everything we can to help you as quickly—and safely—as possible. Remember, if you are not comfortable visiting us in person, we’re still available to help you with a virtual or telephone consultation.

Stay safe & Stay healthy!
